No matter how much you plan and plan, no matter how much you prepare for the unexpected, life always manages to throw you a curve ball.

I was really looking forward to going to Anime Central this year, but the unexpected happened this week. Something I couldn't even prepare for.

My mother was in a car accident.

One of her vertebrae was damaged, and they are keeping her in the hospital for the next couple of days while they decided whether or not to operate or just keep her neck stable in a halo.

Because of her accident, I have decided it would be better to stay home and help her when she needs some assistance.

I would like to apologize to all the Robotech fans that were planning on attending the RDF Underground Room Party.

I wish I could go, and spend time partying with all of you, but unfortunately, my family must come first.

I hope you have fun with out me, and take plenty of pictures.
